By is a personal quote collection app. Your privacy is simple: your data is yours.
By does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All quotes and settings are stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud sync, your quotes are stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is only accessible to you through your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
By can access your camera and photo library to scan text from images using on-device OCR. Photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded or stored by the app.
By does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We do not track your usage in any way.
By does not use any third-party services other than Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) for optional sync.
